Economic Recession- Is it Possible for the United Kingdom?

United Kingdom
GDP Grows by 0.2% in Q2 2011
Recent data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed that UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 0.2% in Q2 2011, compared to an increase of 0.5% in Q1. The slow growth trend has heightened fear of a possible slide back to economic recession. Weaker private consumption dragged growth down, with total services output declining 0.4% compared to the increase of 0.5% in Q1. Concerns over the slow economic growth have stoked up tensions in the coalition government, and another fresh round of quantitative easing by Bank of England may be required to kick-start GDP growth.
